I would like to wish a very happy birthday this week to my best friend and my soul mate. In a nutshell here are my favorite things that describe her: funny, happy, loving, caring, charitable, considerate, friendly, beautiful, twitchy nose when she laughs, strong, compassionate, passionate, tender hearted, puppy dog brown eyes, weird little toe, love for the savior, me, family and friends, afraid of scary movies but loves scary TV shows, ice cream, great shot, makes hella good enchiladas, can put up with me, and is my best friend forever. Have a super happy birthday Ali, I love you!

God Bless America
Thank you to all those who have served this country; be it in the military or local law enforcement. Thanks for standing up for our rights and making the USA a great place to live. Thank you to my friends and family members who have served in both the military and law enforcement; you are all my heroes and you all deserve the best the world has to offer. Please, don’t just remember these heroes on Memorial or Veterans Day….remember them and their families daily as you kneel down by the side of your bed in gratitude. God Bless America!

Happy Birthday Grandpa!
My brothers and I visited Gramps weekly in ‘04, and Grandpa always told us where the elk had been hiding just days ago…Paul and Gramps always had a special relationship, when we helped Gramps out of his home to look at Paul’s elk…he said with a proud smile: “I knew that son-of-a-bitch would get one.” A few weeks later Gramps passed away. The day before his funeral we rode to his farm and the elk were in the exact spot he said they would be. I know Grandpa was riding with us that day. Happy Birthday Gramps, we miss you!
